Initial Consultation Agreement
This Initial Consultation Agreement is entered into between Iman Borhanifar, RCIC (Licence No. R731612), practising through Borhanifar Immigration Inc., whose business address is Unit 717, 130 Queens Quay East, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, telephone: +1 (647) 450-0450, email: hello@borhanifar.com (the “RCIC”), and the potential client identified in this consultation form (the “Potential Client”).
Client Information:
The potential client’s name, email address, telephone number, country of residence and other information are those entered in this consultation form.
Purpose and Scope:
The purpose of the consultation is to discuss the potential client’s Canadian immigration or citizenship circumstances, identify relevant issues and provide preliminary professional information or advice based only on the information available during the scheduled consultation.
The consultation does not include preparing or reviewing an application, completing forms, conducting extensive legal research, communicating with government authorities, submitting documents, representing the potential client or providing services after the consultation.
Any opinion or preliminary assessment is based on the facts disclosed by the potential client and the law, policies and information available on the consultation date. The potential client is responsible for providing complete, accurate and truthful information.
Consultation Fee:
The consultation fee and duration are those selected in this form. Where the selected consultation is identified as free, it is provided on a pro bono basis. Where a fee applies, payment must be completed before the appointment is confirmed.
A consultation fee compensates the consultant for the professional time reserved and advice provided. It does not guarantee eligibility, approval, processing time or any particular immigration or citizenship outcome.
No Continuing Representation:
This agreement applies only to the initial consultation. It does not appoint the RCIC as the potential client’s authorized representative and does not require Borhanifar Immigration Inc. to accept any further engagement.
Any services after the consultation require a separate written Service Agreement describing the services, professional fees, responsibilities and other applicable terms.
Confidentiality:
Information obtained during the professional relationship will be treated as confidential in accordance with the applicable Code of Professional Conduct, subject to disclosure authorized by the client, required by law, required by the College, or otherwise permitted under the Code.
Electronic communications and online consultations may involve security and privacy risks. By submitting this form, the potential client consents to reasonable electronic communication and storage of information.
Conflicts and Professional Obligations:
The consultant may decline, limit or end the consultation where a conflict of interest exists, the requested advice is outside the consultant’s competence or licence, the potential client requests unlawful or misleading conduct, or professional obligations prevent the consultant from proceeding.
Rescheduling and Cancellation:
Requests to reschedule should be made as early as reasonably possible. Missed appointments, late attendance or cancellations may result in loss of the reserved consultation time and fee, subject to applicable law and any written arrangement approved by the firm.
Regulatory Information:
The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants regulates Canadian immigration and citizenship consultants, establishes professional and ethical standards, and receives and addresses complaints concerning its licensees.
A copy or electronic record of this accepted agreement may be retained by Borhanifar Immigration Inc. and provided to the potential client by email or other electronic means.
